Dr. Catherine Huang is an Orange County native and proud to serve patients at OC Optometry Group in Newport Beach, CA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in General Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UC San Diego before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree and residency training in Primary Care, Cornea, and Contact Lenses at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Dr. Huang specializes in scleral lenses and specialty contact lens fittings for patients with keratoconus, dry eye disease, irregular corneas, and other corneal conditions. She is also glaucoma certified and provides comprehensive eye exams and advanced eye care for patients throughout Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and surrounding Orange County communities.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the International Keratoconus Academy, Dr. Huang stays actively involved in the latest advancements in specialty contact lenses and medical optometry. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, son, and golden retriever.
