New COVID-19 Protocol

As healthcare workers and part of the critical infrastructure of the community, we have done our best to remain open to support our patients with and to address urgent cases in the office.

We have monitored the COVID-19 situation and listened to recommendations from public health officials and the American Optometric Association (AOA).  According to their guidelines, we will start seeing regular patients in our office using the below protocol to ensure the health and safety of all patients and staff.

If you are early or the office is not ready for you, you will be asked to remain outside until a space opens up.  Additionally, all patients encounters including pick-ups need to be scheduled with the staff in advance.

Masks: You will be asked to bring and wear a mask the entire time you are in the office.  Cloth or other home-made masks are acceptable.  If you do not have a mask, we can provide you with a surgical mask.  Our doctors and staff will wear masks during all patient encounters.

Spacing: Please confine yourself to your zone until instructed by the staff.  Only the patient is allowed in the office.  For children and adult patients who require a caretaker, one adult may accompany the patient.  We will not be admitting siblings into the office.  However spouses can accompany the patient in the office.

Disinfecting: We are performing diligent hand washing and extra cleaning precautions after every patient, including all surfaces and frames.  Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the office for your convenience.

We appreciate your cooperation and support during this challenging time.
